Building Relationships
Have you heard the expression: “Your Face can Launch a Thousand Ships”?
We’re not being utterly ridiculous. It’s True!! It really can.
People in Marketing use their Faces to Launch Ships, for their living.
he business of Net’work Marketing is to create and maintain Relationships. Those relationships grow into Friendships!
We take those Friendships into Partnerships. Those Partnerships are leveraged into tens, hundreds, maybe thousands more Partnerships. This becomes a Network organization when Leadership skills are used.
So, that’s where the “Thousand Ships” come from. If you like the idea of using your “Face” to create relationships with people all over the world, come over to a community called “Face Book”.
John and I have made lots of friendships (right over the other side of the world too) since we’ve been doing our business like this. We just put a small signature file at the end of each of our messages, with a link to our Intro page, so people can get to know us.
Then, when we call people they may already know that my passion is scuba diving and John’s is Music. It’s a good conversation starter, and sometimes we meet a new diving buddy or a someone who loves the same music that we love.
Some of these Friendships have gone into great Partnerships too!
