Living with Passion
Back in 2003, our business was growing so fast, we could hardly keep up.
Sometimes we had to pinch ourselves (ouch!!)
Is this really happening to US?
Firstly, we’d become debt free!
No more mortgage hanging around our necks (apart from paying all those physio bills trying to get our necks straightened we were tired of looking at things we couldn’t afford:-)
Julieanne gave up her job at the end of 2002!
(pinch me again!!
OK that’s enough!!)
We went to Hawaii in March 2003, to meet some of our business partners, who reside over the other side of the world from us!
Then, in August 2003, we went to San Diego, California to meet more of our partners.
At the beginning of 2004 John was getting more time to spend on his favourite pastime – music.
We moved to the Gold Coast of Australia, where we’ve been wanting to live for some time now!!
It’s beautiful up here and we can go scuba diving in lovely clear, warm water, with an abundance of fish and reefs to look at.
Jessica (our daughter) has been uplifted into a positive whirlwind and accepted the fact that we’re going to achieve our dreams no matter what.
She’s drawn the house she would like to live in.
A 2 storey house with a walkway from the second storey to a tennis court, suspended on a big pole with a water slide into a pool below. (Ok??)
(we could have a stall out the front selling soggy tennis balls).
For 3 years, our favorite business partner was telling us that Good Stuff always comes out of Bad Experiences.
For awhile there, we weren’t so sure.
Now we know it’s true!!
Our original so-called Internet business (6 years ago) turned out to be a “walking down the street” business. However, it made us determined to find a Marketing system that really works on the Net, and eventually led us to what we’re doing now.
The Good Stuff!
James Allen, in his book “Above Life’s Turmoil” says that ”We cannot alter external things, nor shape other people to our liking, nor mould the world to our wishes but we can alter internal things, – our desires, passions, thoughts, – we can shape our liking to other people, and we can mould the inner world of our own mind in accordance with wisdom, and so reconcile it to the outer world if men and things. “
That kind of thinking has got us where we are today.
Do you have an unfortunate incident which you were able to turn into something great?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Bye for now,
John and Jules from Down Under
