MLM Home Business Opportunity – 3 Things to Research

Are you tired of filling out all those forms while looking for an MLM Home Business Opportunity?  Have you had it with people calling and emailing you, saying their MLM Home business is the best? Well, don’t be a worry wart because there’s a better way to discover an MLM business that you will be passionate about.

Doing a little research will make it much easier and save you heaps of time.  You can do this research in a couple of hours, all from your own computer.

These are the three things to peruse:

1. The Product and Market that gets you excited.

2. The Network Marketing company that owns the product of your choice.

3. The Sponsor and business partner you will work with, especially in the start up phase.

Choosing a market you want to work with, then product that you like and one that people want to buy, is the first step to finding your own MLM home business. If you work in a market of your interest, you will be a lot more productive because it will be fun. However, most important is to find a product that’s in demand on the internet. It is very easy to research market demand and the competition on the internet.

Before choosing a product, brainstorm to find some major markets you may want to work in. Here are some markets to choose from – Health and Nutrition, Cosmetics, Energy Drinks, Legal services, Cleaning products, Pets, Financial Services, Children’s Toys and Games, Educational Books and Games, Internet Services and Website Hosting. Perform some research using tools on the internet, and discover what people are searching for within one or two of these markets.

Here is an example to assist you in finding a product. If you’re interested in health and nutrition, think about the kinds of problems people have, when they’re looking for a solution for any health issues. An example of a problem is someone who has arthritis and is looking for arthritis pain relief. People may go on the internet in search of a solution for their arthritis, so they type into a search engine the words “arthritis pain relief”. After the search, they may come across a website describing all different ways to get relief from their arthritis pain, and they may purchase the products being sold on that site. So, if a network marketer sells a product which gives arthritis relief, they may build a website about arthritis.

Once you have found the kind of products you want to market, it’s time to look for network marketing companies that own this particular product. To find a company, you can go to the company directory of a website named MLM.com and do a search by product. The directory gives you a list of all the different product types, and you can see all the companies which sell that type of product. Once you’ve found some companies, go to each company site and read everything you can find, to get a feel for what the company is like.

Now that you’ve selected some companies and products you’d like to work with, it’s time to find the person you want as your sponsor and business partner. This is a really important decision, and we recommend doing thorough research. Go to a search engine and type in “company name blog” where “company name” is the name of the Network Marketing company you’ve chosen.

Over a week or two, read a number of distributor blogs from the company you’ve chosen. We recommend looking through the first few pages of search engine listings to obtain a good overview of distributors working for this particular company. Look to see if the distributor’s values match yours and to see if they have a system you can follow on the internet. Phone these people and see if they offer some kind of consultation, so you can find out how much assistance you’ll receive from them. We recommend spending a lot of time looking for a sponsor, because you will be working with this person closely while starting up your business. It’s good to have someone who can mentor and coach you, and someone that you get along with also. So, build a relationship with two or three distributors, and find out who you would like as your future business partner.
