MLM Internet Network Marketing Power of Building a List
The first way to show you is to get you familiar with network marketing.
What if you had a list or a following of hundreds of people that grew every month?
People that shared something in common with you?
People that liked you because over time you earned their trust and you proved to be a very credible resource?
Listened to them, helped them get something they wanted.
With no strings attached. ( Very important part )
Now lets say you have a business and you sell a product.
Let’s say that product was something called “Prevents Acne”.
That awful thing that often happens to teenagers, who get so upset about it.
( No we don’t sell this, we just made it up.)
Ok, are you still with me?
So you have an email list or a blog following of say 10,000 people that you built over time.
It does take time to build a list of 10,000.
You don’t need that many but More is better (in this case).
We have some cool tricks to speed up the process.
Remind us about that, later.
So, we are on your list and perhaps we have sent a private email or written on a forum or blog, or we’ve spoken on the phone or maybe we have never met yet.
Maybe you showed me a website that I found value in, or I might have laughed at your joke, liked your pictures, discovered we both love scuba diving and you told me some great places to go diving.
Or maybe we have even become pretty good “cyber buddies” because we both love scuba diving or something….
You gave something useful to me, in any case, I like and trust you more then the next guy that sends me with his ” Require 10 people to help me “get r’ich deal”.
( Those emails make me laugh! As though anyone can get me to spend my valuable time helping that bloke ” get r’ich”. As if I would join something with someone I don’t know.)
Oops, I went off the track a bit….
So one day our daughter, who’s a teenager is getting really upset about her acne. Her skin is not the same as it was. She’s getting teased at school and none of the cures for acne seem to help her.
Then, I remember a post on your blog.
I remember somewhere in there you said that you sell stuff that helps acne.
So, what do you think I am going to do????
I am going to ask you about that Acne stuff!
And what if you said:
“Why don’t you try it and if it doesn’t work I will give you your money back?”
So of course, I buy it because I trust you.
Then, guess what happens?
Maybe the stuff never works for my daughter.
So what?
If that’s the case, at least we tried and I know you cared.
And what if The Stuff works!
My daughter is really happy.
Do you think you added some value to my life and hers?
Do you think you feel pretty good about that?
Do you think I think your a pretty nice person?
Ok we are all liking each other now.
( We certainly like each other more then we like the other guy who wanted us to sign up with him immediately )
So what can happen then?
Maybe nothing.
And maybe every time I run into a friend with a teenager who has acne, I tell them about you.
Maybe my best friend is a skin specialist and the stuff works for her teenager!
Maybe that’s all I ever do is recommend you,
your Blog, and your product.
Or Maybe I thought it was so great how you help people and I find out you make well over a $100,000 a year from doing this, so I want to do it with you.
Now remember you have a lot of people following your blog.
And those people all know lots of people.
Like my happy skin specialist friend.
Are you getting the picture?
Lets say you make $20 on each sale .
So with your following of 10,000 even if only 1% each month needed your product that would be $2,000 a month for you.
Now let’s say each one recommended it to 3 people who liked it.
Now your talking an additional 6,000.
That’s 6,000 each and every month.
And it grows!
Teenagers use this stuff daily and it is bought every month for years.
There’s more,
And it gets better, Much better.
AND I think you get the picture so far.
So in summary:
Having an ever growing list of people you can offer something of value to,.
With no strings attached ( And I mean that part, it’s critical )
A list of people you have common interests with, and that you can grow into friendships and partnerships.
That is “People Power”, Relationship Power.
Once you understand this concept and Universal Law, you have an unlimited source of money, ideas, creativity, partnerships and ways to make a difference in the world.
It’s Fun and Exciting!
And once you get a taste for it, you will not want to go back to working a job in order to trade time for money again.
