Powerful Intentions
We (the band) had written all this material, enough for our first album. The music was Country Rock, but some tracks had a definite Pink Floyd sort of flavour.
We were all good musicians, very good is probably more accurate. Our music seemed to captivate our audiences and they became part of us so to speak. As we went from one song to the next the beat changing, the volume increasing, the intensity mounting, the crowd were still with us.
The whole room was charged with electricity and excitement.
At the end of the night, we all looked like we had spent an hour in a sauna, and so did half the crowd. We had all that happening but by that time couldn’t even stand staying at the same hotel.
I think I can hear you saying to yourself, so why didn’t I ever hear of this band????
How come you never made the big time?
Why?
The reason is simple.
It’s very hard to be successful at any business if you can’t get on with your band members or partners. Being in a band isn’t that different to Network Marketing. If you just go and get as many people as possible in your business without some sort of relationshipping or seeing if there’s a compatability. Well??
Getting back to the band for a minute, we had it all. Well, almost. We had the music, we had the management and one of the biggest record companies in the world waiting to sign us.
BUT, we probably should have done our own Days of Our Lives series. Our personalities were so different, there was a constant fight of control of the band, and so it went on until it just couldn’t anymore.
That’s why we feel so great about our business, we’re working with good friends, no-one’s trying to take control, and we’re all having lots of fun.
Ooroo for now,
